Alex Iwobi , 19, could make his debut in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon when defending champions Arsenal tackle Sunderland.
The highly – rated teenager was one of the five youngsters that practiced with the first – team on Friday morning ahead of the meeting at the Emirates.
If Iwobi is named in the 18 – man squad by Frenchman Wenger, it would be the eighth consecutive game across all competitions that he has made the roster.
The Nigeria international did make the Gunners squad for their League Cup games against Totenham Hotspur and Sheffield Wednesday, playing the full game against the Owls.
He has accumulated 108 minutes of playing time for the first team of Arsenal in all competitions since the start of this season.
