Nigeria won the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-1 victory over Algeria in the final in Dakar on Saturday night.

Oghenekaro Etebo struck either side of an own goal from teammate Segun Oduduwa.

Earlier, South Africa joined the two nations in qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games by edging Senegal 3-1 on penaltiesin the third place playoff.
