Defending champions, Nigeria, face Mexico in the U-17 World Cup Chile 2015 semi-final on Thursday at Estadio Municipa.
The Golden Eaglets made it through the quarter-final in style after defeating tournament favourites and three-time champions, Brazil, 3-0. An impressive victory that will give Emmanuel Amuneke’s men a huge boost ahead of their semi-final clash with Mexico.
El Tri, on the other hand, eliminated Ecuador in the quarter-final with a 2-0 win in Coquimbo thanks to goals from Claudio Zamudio and Bryan Salazar, making it to the semi-final for the first time in their history.
