The Sporting Director of Granada, Juan Carlos Cordero, has confirmed that the Andalusian outfit will restrict Nigeria youth international Isaac Success from representing the Dream Team at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
Success is one of the Flying Eagles stars that has been invited by Nigeria’s Olympic National Team coach, Samson Siasia, to beef up with the squad, but he will be staying put in Spain due to commitments with the Nazaríes.
“Success will not go to the African Cup, ” sporting director Juan Carlos Cordero simply told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Of the 9 games Granada have contested in the Primera Division this season, Success has been involved in every single match, making 7 starts and featuring twice off the bench.
In December 2014, Granada had stopped their number 11 from attending a training camp organized by Samson Siasia and the Nigeria Federation.
