England has seem to beat Nigeria yet again to another player, as The Three Lions have named Dele Alli among its 24-man team to play in the remaining European Championship qualifiers in October.
The 19-year-old who was Invited by Nigeria in the past but ignored, has represented England teams previously at Junior levels.
The England Senior Football team manager, Roy Hodgson, explained his reason for choosing the Tottenham Hotspur Midfielder, saying he is impressed with Dele’s performance so far.
“We’ve been impressed with Dele Alli and this is a chance to get to know him. He’s a very exciting talent,” says Roy Hodgson.
Like Alli , Jordon Ibe who’s father is Nigerian also rejected an invitation to play for Nigeria.
