Why I Left Chelsea For West Ham – Victor Moses

The Super Eagles forward Victor Moses has revealed to West Ham TV why he readily left his parent club Chelsea for the Hammers on a season-long loan.

Victor Moses signs for West Ham United
According to the Kaduna-born footballer, he left Chelsea because West Ham’s counter-attacking style of football fits his abilities.

He said:“It’s not just been the way they have played that has impressed me, but it’s been the hard work as well. You can tell everyone is fighting for each other and it was a great result at Arsenal and then at Liverpool at the weekend.

“I love playing counter-attacking football and this club has definitely got it here and it will definitely suit my game. We’ve got a good quality of players up front and the wingers are quick, so if we can get it going on the counter-attack we can really be a threat as a team.

“I’m delighted to be here and I want to help the Club finish as high up in the table as possible this season.”

Moses also hailed the atmosphere in West Ham’s Upton Park stadium and glorious history. On what he can add to the team, Moses said: “I want to add my quality to what West Ham already have and hopefully we can do much better this season than last season. I am very pleased to work under the new manager.

“The lads are working very well and I’ve seen them all and they’re great lads. I spoke to the manager he’s a great manager and I’m very pleased to be here working under him.”

Moses said he would like to add goals to his game but would love to contribute to a successful season for the Hammers.

Moses joined West Ham on a season-long loan from Chelsea after signing a new four-year deal with the Blues. He has been loaned out to Liverpool and Stoke City over the past two seasons.
