Tottenham Move To Sign Man City’s Starlet

There are indications that Nigeria’s boy wonder Kelechi Iheanacho could be set to leave Manchester City for Tottenham Hotspur.

According to the Sun, Spurs are planning to woo Iheanacho’s party with a lucrative contract and talks of first team football while Manchester City have noted this move and are set to hand the youngster a contract extension till 2018.

Spurs, unlike Man City are known for the development of young players with the likes of Nigeria’s Dele Alli, Nacil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason, Harry Kane, Tom Carrol, Danny Rose the highest profile youngsters to emerge from their economy.

Iheanacho, 18, is third choice striker at the Etihad behind Argentina’s Sergio Aguero and Ivory Coast’s Wilfried Bony. The U-20 star has one senior goal for City which was scored in the club’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace two weeks ago.
