Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Kenneth Omeruo is facing a minimum of four weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury two days back in a Turkish Super Lig fixture against Rizespor.
While the results of the scan he underwent on Tuesday are still being awaited, the initial prognosis is that the injury could keep the Nigeria international out of action for four – six weeks.
The Super Eagles have been dealt a blow ahead of the international friendlies against DRC and Cameroon, with coach Sunday Oliseh calling up Celtic defender Efe Ambrose as his replacement.
Kenneth Omeruo has started every single game played by Kasimpasa in the Super Lig in the new season.
