The English Football Association has beaten Nigeria over the international future of Jordon Ibe at senior level, Super Eagles manager Sunday Oliseh has revealed.
Though Ibe has played for the youth teams of England, Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia and Sunday Oliseh had explored the possibility of the Liverpool winger pledging his future to Nigeria and the response from the player is not favorable.
“Jordon Ibe’s family informed me by a telephone call, that he was giving priority to an England call up. We wish them well,” Sunday Oliseh posted on Twitter.
