FIFA Women Ranking: Super Falcons Drop Nine Positions


On Friday morning, Football governing body, FIFA, posted on its website the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking for the month of September.

African champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, have dropped nine places in the global rankings and now occupy the 38th position but remain the best team in the continent.

Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana and South Africa make up the top five teams in Africa in that order.

There was no movement in the top five, with world champions United States of America, Germany, France, Japan and England holding on to their positions.

The year- end world ranking will be published by the official website of FIFA, fifa.com, on 18 December 2015.

4) Ghana

6) Ivory Coast
7) Algeria
8) Morocco
9) Tunisia
10) Egypt
