As Portugal and Real Madrid striker, Christiano Ronaldo hits his 80th goal of the UEFA Champions League; Lionel Messi who is the current European footballer of the year will need to be very outstanding against Italian giants, AS Roma to convince football his fans lovers ‘he is around’.

It is obvious that the individual achievements of both players has helped galvanized each other to become better day-by-day.

Here Are 4 Reasons Ronaldo Has Better Scoring Rate Than Messi At The Moment

1. Hectic Schedule For Leo: No doubt or arguably, Lionel Messi is, if not the best player that has graced planet earth. However, probably he is recovering from a very hectic 2014/2015 season where he played in several competitions from the La Liga to Copa Del Rey. He also won last season’s UEFA Champions league.

The number 10-shirted player for both club and country also featured for his national team at the Copa America. Although, CR7 also played a couple of competitions, it is so obvious that Messi played more games last season.

2. Free Role: It is so evident that Ronaldo plays more of a free-role under new boss Rafa Benitez. The sensational striker has scored more goals than any other player in the world this season. Although, Messi enjoys this as well, the Catalan player had to come-off the bench to score the winner against Athletico Madrid in their league game of the season.

3. Motivation: Although, there are no separating these two living legends, the emergence of Lionel Messi as the European footballer of the year could be a motivating-factor for Ronaldo.
Probably, the Portugese is trying to finish the year 2015on a highand have a chance to be selected yet again to become the world footballer of the year.

4. Club Factor: Obviously, Barcelona is a team made-up of superstars. The attacking trio at the Catalan club, Neyma, Suarez and Messi has been penned-down as the most devastating strike-force ever, in club football.
As a result, some of the accolades are ‘stolen’ from Messi by his colleagues in his team.

However, Messi is still merciless. Ronaldo on the other hand enjoys more creativity and it’s one of the reasons he finds the net day-in-day-out.
