City Have No Excuse This Season – Pellegrini

Money should answer everything. And Manuel Pellegrini believes City should have no excuse this term for failing, after a spending spree that’s set to hit £150 million.
City went through last season without a trophy and have responded this season by recruiting, Sterling and Otamendi, they also look to get De Bruyne from Wolfsburg.
The signing of De Bruyne will end their spending, as they look to win the EPL this season.
Pellegrini believes there should be no excuse if that doesn’t happen.
“Last season we had some restrictions but I didn’t give any excuse not to win the title,” the Chilean said.
“This team must try to win titles every year. It’s not so easy because you have strong teams here in the Premier League and in the Champions League.
“But we must try to do it. The best way to at least try is to have a good squad. That’s what we are trying to do now and we finish on Tuesday when the transfer window is closed.”[post_ad]
