Troost-Ekong Confirms KAA Gent move


One – cap Nigeria international William Troost – Ekong has ended speculation about his future by agreeing a deal with Belgian champions KAA Gent.
A product of Tottenham Hotspur, Troost-Ekong revealed to allnigeriasoccer.com that he put pen to paper on a three – year contract with The Buffalos which will keep him at the Ghelamco Arena until the end of the 2017 – 2018 season. [post_ad]
Gent did not part with a single euro to acquire the central defender as he was a free agent, having ran out of contract at FC Groningen at the end last season.
He spent the last 18 months of his contract with Groningen at Dordrecht, making 32 appearances in the league.
William Troost-Ekong, a former Holland youth international, spent his formative years as a footballer with Fulham Academy.
