Nigeria’s Igiebor on target as Maccabi sinks Hibernians



Nigerian midfielder Nosa Emanuel Igiebor found the back of the net for Maccabi Tel Aviv who trashed Maltese side Hibernians 5-1 to advance to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League with a 6-3 aggregate win on Tuesday night.
Igiebor, who grabbed his side’s only goal in the first leg, scored his side’s fourth goal in the 82nd minute of the encounter to set up a clash with Viktoria Plzeň in the third qualifying round.
The winners of the third qualifying round tie will advance to the play-offs, the final round before the group stages.[post_ad]
