Nigeria’s Dream Team VI will take on Rwanda in a friendly fixed for Kigali on Saturday, July 25, as part of their preparations for a CAF U23 Championship return leg qualifier against Congo.
Nigeria hosted Congo on Sunday in the first leg U23 Championship qualifier, which ended 2-1 in Nigeria’s favour. Now Nigeria will he heading to Pointe-Noire for the second leg fixed for August 2 .
The overall winners of this match-up will advance to the CAF U23 Championship in Senegal in December, which will serve as the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Rwanda have already called up a 26-man squad for the friendly against Nigeria’s Olympic team.
They also plan to use this match to prepare for next year’s CHAN, which they will host from January 16.[post_ad]
