[Video highlights] Super Falcons 3-3 Sweden


The Super Falcons of Nigeria kicked off their 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup with a thrilling 3-3 draw with Sweden after coming from a 2-0 deficit.
Sweden scored two quick goals in the first half but the Nigerian girls equalised in the second half before settling for a 3-3- draw.
The Super Falcons started on the brighter note and pressed the Swedes in the first 15 minutes.
Sweden however scored against the run of play in the 20th minute as Desire Oparanozie scored an unfortunate own goal with her chest from a corner.
The Europeans doubled their lead after a poor clearance off another corner allowed Nilla Fischer to tap in to an empty net after the ball made its way through the crowd.
The Super Falcons however came back into the match with two quick goals in the second half.
After a brilliant first touch that made her evade a defender,Ngozi Okobi coolly finished past Hedvig Lindahl. 

Three minutes later, BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year,Asisat Oshoala beat a defender to a pass to slot home the equaliser.
The Swedes however were not done as substitute Linda Sembrant tapped into the net after a good build-up play on the left side.
Francisca Ordega salvaged a point for the Super Falcons three minutes from time with a shot that slip through the legs of the Swedes’ goalkeeper .
In another Group D match, USA defeated Australia by 3-1.
In Group C, Cameroon thrashed Ecuador 6-0 while Japan defeated Switzerland by a lone goal.
