[Video Highlights] Nigeria 0-1 Germany U20 World Cup

Nigeria on Thursday morning at the Christchurch Stadium were defeated 1-0 by Germany to bow out of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
The Flying Eagles were second best in possession in the first half and the Germans made their domination count in the 19th minute when midfielder Kingsley Sokari lost possession which Borussia Dortmund youngster, Mark Stendera pounced on and laid a pass to Oztunali who finished off with aplomb with a left-footed shot.
The Germans kept the pressure going and Hany Mukhtar’s two dangerous headers were punched away by Joshua Enaholo.
The Eagles came off their straps in the second half with some purposeful play, Manu Garba replacing Godwin Saviour with Isaac Success.
Taiwo Awoniyi was sent clear by a long pass by Zaharadeen Bello in the 60th minute but the striker fell over his laces in the German box as Isaac Success waited for a lay-off much to the frustration of the Nigerian bench.
Isaac Success swivelled, stumbled but regained possession to shot but his effort with barely ten minutes left on the clock went wide.
The Nigerians escaped a late scare when German defender Weigl was clear to score but left back Abdullahi Mustapha cleared.
