In the midst of Stadiums in Nigeria, are some great ones that stand out. Although Nigerian stadiums are not at best, they are still worth mentioning.

In a descending order here are the Top 5 Stadiums In Nigeria 

1. Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo

The Akwa Ibom International Stadium is an all-seater national sports stadium located in Uyo, the state capital of Akwa Ibom. The stadium serves as a home to the Nigerian Super Eagles as well as a center for various social, cultural, and religious events.

The contract for the construction of the Akwa Ibom International Stadium complex and Games Village was awarded in 2012 to Julius Berger and was completed in 2014. The 30,000 seater ultra modern multi-purpose sports complex was modeled after Allianz Arena.

2. Abuja National Stadium

Abuja National Stadium (also known asNational Stadium or Abuja Stadium) is an all-seater national sports stadium located in Abuja, the rapidly developing Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. The stadium serves as a home to the Nigerian national football team, as well as a center for various social, cultural, and religious events.

The Federal Government of Nigeria approved the contract for the construction of the National Stadium complex and Games Village on July 18, 2000. The stadium was constructed to host the 8th All Africa Games which took place in October 2003. The 60,491 seater is an ultra modern multipurpose sports complex.

3. Teslim Balogun Stadium

Teslim Balogun Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. It is used mostly for football matches and serves as a home ground of First Bank F.C.. The stadium has a capacity of 24,325 people for international football matches, and the Nigerian FA Cup final, which it hosted before the youth tournament in 2009. It sits adjacent to the Lagos National Stadium.It is named after former professional footballer Teslim Balogun.

4. U.J. Esuene Stadium

The stadium has a capacity of 16,000 and opened in 1977. The UJ Esuene Stadium was inaugurated on the 2 April 1977 with a match between Benin’s Bendel Insurance F.C. and newly formed Calabar Rovers of Calabar. Two weeks later, the stadium hosted an international encounter between Enugu Rangers and Tonnerre Yaoundé- a game that featured the likes of Roger Milla, Christian Chukwu and Emmanuel Okalla. Games at the 2003 All-Africa Games were also played at the U. J. Esuene Stadium in October 2003, as were Nigeria’s qualifiers for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.

5. Liberation Stadium

Liberation Stadium is a multi- purpose stadium in the Elekahia area of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Dolphins F.C.. The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 people.
