Flying Eagles name starting eleven against Ghana

Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba has picked a strong starting XI for Monday’s African Youth Championship warm-up against Ghana in Accra.

Taiwo Awoniyi will partner FC Porto starlet Chidera Ezeh in attack, while the midfield has Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, Akinjide Idowu, Musa Yahaya and Ifeanyi Matthew.

Zaharadeen Bello has passed a late fitness test to pair Izu Omego in the heart of the back four, which also has skipper Musa Muhammed and Mustapha Abdullahi.

Joshua Enaholo will be in goal for the Nigeria U20s.

Both teams have agreed for a maximum of six changes in course of the match.
Kick-off time is 3pm local time, which is 4pm Nigerian time.
The second match between the two AYC-bound teams will be played in Tema on Wednesday.
Ghana, who are drawn in Group B of the 2015 AYC in Senegal, have been training at the Ghana FIFA Goal Project in Prampram under coach Silas Tetteh, who guided them to win the 2009 World Cup in Egypt.
Tetteh was also in charge when the Satellites were beaten in the 2013 AYC final in Algeria before they reached the knockout stage of the World Cup in Turkey.
They are due for a training camp in Turkey from this weekend.
