Taye Taiwo’s run at Legia Warsaw ‘not impressive’

Boguslaw Lenodorski,President at Taiwo’s club Legia Warsaw, has admitted that Taye Taiwo needs to improve his match fitness after watching him in action on Tuesday in the 2- 0 loss to Qaraba FK in a friendly.
Henning Berg, former Manchester United defender now coach of Legia, has been running the rule over the former Marseille and AC Milan man at the team’s training camp in Belek since Monday.
And the decision of whether or not Taye Taiwo would be offered a contract is to be made by Hennig Berg in the coming days, and not the president of the club.
“Taye Taiwo first came out with the team on the pitch. You can see that he is not yet tuned,” Boguslaw Lenodorski said to the official website.
“When a decision on Taiwo? You have to talk about it with the coach.”
In yesterday’s friendly against the Azerbaijani champions,Taiwo enjoyed 90 minutes of action.
Unfortunately, the 29-year-old is being blamed for the second goal conceded by Legia Warsaw after he uncharacteristically passed to an opponent while playing as a central defender.
