Real Sociedad vs FC Barcelona – Preview. Bravo In Emotional Return As Barca Seek Revenge

Barca Face A Tough Fixture Against Sociedad At The Anoeta

FC Barcelona kick off 2015 as they travel to Real Sociedad’s Anoeta in a bid to close the gap on league leaders Real Madrid at the top of the table with goal keeper Claudio Bravo set to make an emotional return to his former club.
David Moyes will be aiming that his Real Sociedad side end a bad run of form after going three La Liga matches without a win when they host Barcelona.

The Blaugranas haven’t won at the Anoeta in their five previous attempts and will surely find it hard against their opponent as both Real and Atletico Madrid failed to win there.
Moreover, Moyes’ men have picked up just six points from their last five outings in the Spanish top flight, leaving them 14th on the log, just two points clear off the relegation zone.
Both team have a boost in the Injury section as Sociedads star striker Carlos Vela is set to make a return after being sidelined with a knock from his sides final two fixtures of 2014.
At the other side of the coin, Barcelona have the course to rejoice as Dani Alves recieved the Medical green light and will be available for the Clash.
The visitors will be trying to keep the pressure on league leaders Real Madrid, who sit just a point ahead of the Catalan side heading into the weekend.
Luis Enrique’s side were in strong form prior to the winter break, winning five of their previous six outings in the league, extending back to November’s El Clasico defeat and will come into the game with full confidence of a victory.
Barcelona goal keeper Claudio Bravo who was bought from Real Sociedad during the summer will make an emotional return to the Anoeta and will hope to have a clean game free of boos.
