QPR May Sign Yakubu In January

Yakubu A.K.A ‘Oba Goal’ (Goal King), is reportedly on the list of possible transfers to QPR this January.
According to Daily Mirror, Redknapp has included Yakubu Aiyegbeni on his list of players he may be buying during January transfer season. Another player on his wish-list is the England striker, Jermain Defoe, who currently plays for FC Toronto in the MLS.
Yakubu, who plays for Qatari club Al Rayyan, was in the stands to watch Rangers’ 2-1 defeat at Arsenal on Boxing Day. He has just six months left on his contract in the Middle East and is open to another chance of playing in the Premier League.
Despite being 32, Redknapp believes ‘The Yak’,as he is also called, could be worth the risk as he chases firepower.
Yakubu had a prolific top-flight career with Middlesbrough, Everton and Blackburn before heading to China in 2012.
