Xavi And Iniesta Shortlisted In FIFA FIFPro World XI Midfielders List

FC Barcelona Legendary midfield duo of Andrés Iniesta and Xavi Hernández have been shortlisted in FIFA FIFPro World XI 2014 midfield category.

The two spaniards have been included in the 15-midfielder list, which also features ex-Barça stars Cesc Fàbregas and Yaya Touré.
The duo joins the likes of Claudio Bravo, Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano and Jordi Alba as the Barca candidates for a place in the World XI.

• Xabi Alonso (FC Bayern Munich and Spain)
• Angel Di Maria (Manchester United and Argentina)
Xavi Hernandez (FC Barcelona and Spain)
• Eden Hazard (Chelsea FC and Belgium)
• Toni Kroos (Real Madrid and Germany)
• Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea FC and Spain)
• Luka Modric (Real Madrid CF and Croatia)
• Mesut Özil (Arsenal FC and Germany)
• Andrea Pirlo ( Juventus and Italy)
• Paul Pogba ( Juventus and France)
Andres Iniesta (FC Barcelona and Spain)
• James Rodríguez (Real Madrid and Colombia)
• Bastian Schweinsteiger (FC Bayern Munich and Germany)
• Yaya Toure (Manchester City and Ivory Coast)
• Arturo Vidal (Juventus and Chile)

The final line up will be a result of the votes of the 60,000 professional footballers all over the world and will be announced at the FIFA Ballon d’or gala in Zurich on January 12, 2015.
