Marc Bartra Speaks On The ‘Deadly Trio’, Neymar, Messi and Suarez

Barca Defender Marc Bartra has reflected on the attacking power available to Barcelona in the trio of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

The ‘deadly trio’ have featured together regularly this season after Suarez served his four-month ban for biting and even though the Uruguayan haven’t quite clicked yet, Bartra is certain that they will flourish, and added that even if they struggle, there are other options.

“Suarez is a great player. He creates chances out of nowhere and he will give us a lot,” Bartra told Mundo Deportivo.
“It’s great to have the three of them but we also have Pedro Rodriguez, Munir El Haddadi. They are three of the best strikers in the world and it’s an honour to have them.
“The Coaches want we, the defenders to suffer and stop them. That makes you grow and as I said, I’m proud to have them on the team.
Neymar’s qualities? Running with the ball and especially scoring. He has a lot of goals.
Messi is the most complete player in the world. He is very fast, technically gifted, does well in the air, is strong and scores a lot of goals, which is why he’s the best in football.
“Suarez is a killer. It’s not only goals that he has or working with his teammates. He’ll give the team a lot.”
Although not a starter, Bartra have featured in a couple of games for the Catalans and performed well.
