Ronaldo: Barcelona have an advantage

Cristiano Ronaldo believes Barcelona have an advantage over Real Madrid ahead of Saturday’s Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Madrid striker feels the Catalans will benefit from an extra 24 hours rest after both teams’ exertions in this week’s Champions League.
Barcelona entertained Ajax at Camp Nou on Tuesday, where they emerged 3-1 victors, while Los Blancos had to travel to England to take on Liverpool at Anfield the following day.
“I don’t understand whey El Clasico is going to be played on Saturday, nor the [kick-off] time,” he told reporters at a Press conference.
“It’s the biggest game and should be looked at differently. It could have been played on Sunday.
“They will need to be more careful with these things in the future as any professional will tell you it’s not the same to recover in two days as in three.
“It’s a small advantage that Barcelona will have,” he insisted.
However, i think Cristiano should not lay the blame on La liga as even if the fixture is put on a sunday, the one day advantage still stands. So the UCL should be questioned, not the LFP.
