Ridiculous! Messi not nominated for ‘Best Forward’ in La liga, Vela picked instead

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been left out of LFP’s nominees for the 2013/2014 ‘Best Forward’ in La liga Award.
The Barcelona wonderman did not make the final three shortlist as Real Sociedad’s Carlos Vela was preferred, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Diego Costa.
This is really a questionable decision as everyone expected CR7, Costa and Messi in the shortlist. Messi totally and statistically outshined Vela last season.
Messi scored 28 goals in 31 games compared
to Vela’s 16 in 37 games.
This, arguably is one of the worst decisions i have witnessed in La liga so far. Absolutely ridiculous. But No Problem, Messi’s award shelf only has the space to contain the Ballon d’or.
