REPORT: Racing Santander 0-0 FC Barcelona B. Barca B held to a barren draw

Barcelona B were held to a goalless draw with Racing de Santander in Spain’s Segunda Division leaving the Catalan outfits without a win in 4 weeks.

A lacklustre display from both sides in the opening 45 minutes saw no efforts on target in the first half, leaving the teams level at the half time.
After the restart, David Concha came close to opening the scoring for the hosts as he tried to head in from a corner, but Adrian Ortola made the save in the Barca B goal.
David Miguelez also tested the keeper, forcing a save from Ortola before firing the rebound just high of the crossbar, while Javi Soria blasted the ball wide with a 20-yard shot.
Racing continued to push into stoppage time, with Kone coming close to late winner, but his shot from close range was sliced inches wide, ensuring that the sides finished level.
