MUST READ: Arsenal season tickets cost more than ten times than Barca’s

The extortionate fees that Gunners fans are having to pay.
Some interesting figures have emerged that shows that Arsenal’s cheapest season ticket costs over 10 times more than the price of FC Barcelona’s and Bayern Munich’s.
The Telegraph reports that the Gunners’ fees for a season ticket starts at £1,014 and goes all the way up to £2,013, in comparison to the £109.65 that Bayern charges and the £103.38 it costs at Barca.
In fact those prices for the German and Spanish giants are cheaper than the cheapest season ticket at any of England’s 92 football league clubs, with Charlton Athletic taking that accolade at £150.
The North London outfit have the most expensive season tickets in the country and their prices are even three times more than that of reigning Premier League champions Manchester City, who’s cheapest price is £299.
There are concerns that ordinary fans are being priced out of going to watch English football matches, with ticket prices since 2011 rising at twice the rate of inflation.
Chelsea meanwhile have the highest match day ticket with prices starting at £50, whilst Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday can boast the cheapest at £10.
Attendances would suggest supporters aren’t being discouraged from going to matches, but in comparison to La Liga and the Bundesliga, English clubs are charging extortionate rates.
