The Glasgow Rangers midfielder will be walking a tight rope when Steven Gerrard’s men trade tackles with FC Midtjylland in the second leg of their Europa League 3rd round qualifier.
The Gers hold a healthy advantage going into the game at the Ibrox after defeating the Danes 4-2 last week. Aribo scored the Light Blues second goal in the match.

A talented box-to-box-midfielder often drawing comparisons with Ivory Coast’s Yaya Toure, Joe Aribo has just recently earned his first Super Eagles callup for the international friendly match against Ukraine on September 10.

The 23-year-old will however be walking a Euro suspension tightrope in the return leg tie against the Danes.
The Camberwell-born playmaker picked up his second booking of the qualifying stages in last Thursday’s 4-2 first leg victory in Denmark. Aribo was earlier cautioned during the home win over Progres Niederkom in the second round.
Another booking would rule him out of the first leg of a play-off round against Legia Warsaw — if Gers advance.

The Poles are already through to the next round having won 2-0 against Atromitos in Greece yesterday after a goalless first leg.
Joe Aribo has been in fine form for Rangers since joining over the summer. He previously starred for Charlton Athletic were he scored 14 goals in 81 league appearances.
