The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations champions are currently sitting in 5th place in the World Cup qualifying standings with four points out of a possible 12 points.
Following this, their next World Cup qualifying clash against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March is a must-win encounter to revive their World Cup ticket hope.
“You have to give everything you know. It’s a dream of every youngster to be at the World Cup. Mine is no exception,” Osimhen told BBC journalist Oluwashina Okeleji.
The Super Eagles endured a disappointing start to their World Cup qualification campaign, having failed to secure wins against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
“We are really looking forward to the game against Rwanda to correct the mistakes we’ve made in the past World Cup qualifiers. So for me, I think we will be ready,” he added.
Nigeria will take on Rwanda on the 17th of March in Kigali and return to Nigeria to tackle Zimbabwe on the 24th of March as they seek to revive their qualification hopes.
