“Anything can happen” – Super Eagles star eyes glory for Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup

Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina, has revealed his side’s plan to go all the way in this season’s edition of the FA Cup, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 28-year-old has been ever-present for the Reds in the English Premier League this season, and his impressive performances have seen him linked with a move to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Nottingham Forest have won the FA Cup twice in their history, and they welcome Luton Town to the City Ground for the third-round fixture of the tournament.

Ahead of the game, Ola Aina played up Luton’s quality but also added the crowd at the City Ground should be able to help Nuno’s side over the line with a win this evening.

“It’s a tough game but one that I think we’ll be prepared for but it’ll be a good game. I think it’ll be good for the team if we can get an FA Cup run. It’s a magic tournament and anything can happen. The boys are excited to play in it and see how far we get.

“The fans are our twelfth man, home and away – they’re just as loud. We appreciate it so much. The only way we can repay them is by getting three points each week which is what we’ve been doing lately,” the former Chelsea man said in quotes revealed by the FA Cup official website.
