Wilfred Ndidi reacts as Leicester earn Van Nistelrooy’s first three points

Leicester City secured their first English Premier League victory against West Ham United under the new management of Ruud van Nistelrooy

Super Eagles forward Wilfred Ndidi expressed his delight after Leicester City secured their first victory under new manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian took to his social media page to celebrate the win, which came after three consecutive losses that had left the Foxes just above the relegation zone.

Leicester hosted West Ham United at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday and claimed all three points thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy, Bilal El Khannouss, and Patson Daka.

The England international, Vardy, opened the scoring just two minutes into the match, capitalising on a brilliant assist from El Khannouss, who squared the ball for the England international to slot past Lukasz Fabianski into the bottom-right corner.

El Khannouss added his name to the scoresheet later, while Patson Daka sealed the victory with a moment of magic, smashing a spectacular shot into the top-right corner of the net.

Ndidi, whose outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match award, shared an image of himself in action with the caption, “+3 Dopamine.”

This commanding display marked a promising start to the Dutchman’s tenure. Leicester will look to build on this momentum when they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
