Ola Aina’s stunning strike helps Nottingham Forest equal 25-year-old record in victory over West Ham United

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, scored a stunning left-footed strike in Nottingham Forest’s 3-0 win against West Ham United, helping Nuno’s side equal a 25-year-old record, Soccernet.ng reports.

The versatile full-back started his ninth of Forest’s ten league games this season, and it didn’t take long for the Reds to break the deadlock in front of the City Ground crowd.

Chris Wood broke the deadlock in the 27th minute, heading home from a brilliant Àlex Moreno cross to score his eighth league goal of the season, and is a man truly in from.

Things went from bad to worse for West Ham when Edson Alvarez was given his marching orders in the closing seconds of the first half after a poor foul on Antony Elanga.

Ex-Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi doubled Forest’s lead in the 68th minute. A cheeky low pass from Elliot Anderson via a free-kick met Odoi on the edge of the box, and the Englishman sent the ball into the far corner of Lukasz Fabianski’s goal.
