Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was in goal for Paris FC as the French club claimed an emphatic 8-0 league victory over Le Havre on Sunday afternoon, Soccernet.ng reports.
A couple of days ago, Nnadozie and Paris FC suffered disappointment in the UEFA Women’s Champions League when they were knocked out of the competition by Manchester City.
Paris FC crashed out of the Champions League on an 8-0 aggregate defeat after losing 5-0 on home soil before succumbing to a 3-0 loss in Manchester.
Earlier this afternoon, the French side turned their attention to the Première Ligue where they played host to Le Havre at the Stade Charléty in Paris.
It finished as a one-sided affair as four goals from Clara Matéo and a brace each from Maëlle Garbino and Julie Dufour handed Paris FC their biggest win since joining the Première Ligue in 2017.
It is, however, not the biggest win in all competitions for Paris FC. That record was set in January 2018 in a 10-0 win over CA Paris in the Coupe de France Féminine.
Nnadozie has also featured in other big Paris FC wins including a 9-0 triumph over Lorient in the Coupe de France Féminine in January 2022 and a similar victory over First Vienna in the Women’s Champions League this September.
Elsewhere, in the United States’ NWSL, Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie featured for 82 minutes as her Houston Dash fell to a 3-1 loss at Orlando Pride.
Nigeria international Nicole Payne came off the bench for Portland Thorns in their defeat at the hands of San Diego Wave.
