Watch: Rema schools Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Balde in the art of Azaman dance

Rema was spotted at the MetLife Stadium to show support for FC Barcelona in their preseason friendly clash against Real Madrid

Nigerian superstar Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, was recently seen teaching Barcelona players how to dance to his latest song, Soccernet.ng reports.

Following the release of his new album “Heis,” a follow-up to his debut album “Rave and Roses,” Rema continues to make waves in the Nigerian music industry and globally. One of the standout tracks from the album is “Azaman,” which has quickly gained popularity.

Rema has maintained a close relationship with Barcelona and its players. In a recent video, he was spotted teaching Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, Brazilian forward Raphinha, and Spanish left-back Alejandro Balde the choreography for “Azaman.”

Earlier, Soccernet.ng reported that Rema, along with fellow Nigerian artists Davido and Olamide, was seen at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, where they watched Barcelona secure a thrilling victory over Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly. The match featured standout performances from young talents Pau Victor and Nico Paz, with Victor scoring twice.

Rema, who expressed his excitement about supporting Barcelona, stated, “It’s your boy Rema all the way from Nigeria. I am so happy to be here supporting Barça. One love. I am sure it is going to be a great game.” His pre-match prediction turned out to be accurate, adding to the excitement of the event.

Rema’s single “Calm Down,” featuring Selena Gomez, has achieved remarkable success in the United States, selling 7,000,000 units and earning a 7-time platinum certification from the RIAA. This milestone brings the song closer to becoming the first African track to receive an RIAA diamond certification.
