Watch: Rema, Davido, Olamide spotted as Barca defeat Real Madrid in pre-El Clasico clash

Nigerian mega artists Rema, Davido, and Olamide were spotted at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford as Barcelona secured a thrilling victory over Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly, Soccernet.ng reports.

The match saw young talents Pau Victor and Nico Paz make a significant impact. Victor opened the scoring for Barcelona just before halftime and doubled their lead in the 54th minute.

Although Nico Paz managed to score in the 82nd minute after receiving a pass from Arda Güler, Real Madrid could not equalize.

The presence of these Nigerian stars captivated fans, who were thrilled to see their favourites at the stadium. In one video, Davido was seen with Zlatan Ibile, Victony, BOJ, and Sarz, all prominent Afrobeats artists. Another video featured Rema and Olamide enjoying the game together.

Rema, who recently released the album “He Is,” expressed his excitement about supporting the Barcelona-based club.

“It’s your boy Rema all the way from Nigeria. I am so happy to be here supporting Barça. One love. I am sure it is going to be a great game.” Rema said before making a pre-match prediction, which turned out to be accurate.

The reason behind the artists’ presence at the game remains unclear, but it is speculated they were invited to grace the occasion.
