NPFL: Shooting Stars midfielder Malomo kick-starts European journey, joins KF Bylis

Shooting Stars midfielder, Samson Malomo, has embarked on an exciting new chapter in his football career, making the leap from the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) to Europe by signing with Albanian club KF Bylis, Soccernet.ng reports. 

3SC has officially announced the departure of their captain, Malomo, as he embarks on a new chapter in his career with a move to European side, Bylis.

The attacking winger, who played a pivotal role in the club’s successes, leaves the Oluyole Warriors after his contract expired at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Malomo’s impressive performance last season, where he scored seven goals and provided four assists, has earned him a 2-year deal with the European club.

“We are glad to officially announce the departure of our captain, Malomo Taofeek Ayodeji, from the Oluyole Warriors’ fold,” the club stated. “Soft-spoken Malomo, who scored seven goals and provided four assists in the 2023/24 season, has gladly moved to Europe, where he has joined Albanian side FK Bylis on a 2-year deal.”

Malomo has been a key figure for Shooting Stars, instrumental in their promotion back to the NPFL in the 2021-22 season. His outstanding contributions on the field, after joining from Joy Cometh FC, have left a lasting impact on the Ibadan-based club.
