Super Falcons-eligible forward joins Charlton Athletic on loan from West Ham

England-born West Ham United Women’s striker, Princess Ademiluyi, has joined Charlton Athletic on loan for the 2024/25 season, Soccernet.ng reports.

To further her development, West Ham have agreed to send the Kent-born forward on loan to Barclays Women’s Championship side, Charlton Athletic. The Addicks currently play in England’s second tier of Women’s football.

“I feel amazing, it’s the best birthday that I could have wished for. I am very excited to play in the Championship because it’s competitive and can help me find my form and grow into the player I want to be. Looking at the season the team had previously, they came so close to promotion. So I felt like I wanted to come here and help make that dream come true. I also believe that working under Karen will allow me to progress as a player,” Ademuluyi said on Charlton’s official website.

Ademiluyi was born in Gravesend, Kent, England, but is of Nigerian descent, and is eligible to represent the Super Falcons of Nigeria or the Lionesses of England. Her preferred National team is unknown at the moment, but she’s yet to represent either nation at any level.
