Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi has opened up about his connection with current Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Soccernet.ng reports.
Nnadozie, who currently plays for Paris FC, has become one of the standout players in the Nigerian women’s national team over the years.
In an interview with Eagles Tracker, Onyemaechi narrated how he received encouragement from people about his football career and revealed his connection with Nnadozie.
“I think it started from secondary school. And actually, this girl, Chiamaka, this [Super Falcons] goalkeeper. We went to the same school. And we played together in school. At that time, she was the only girl that played with us. So I think it’s my friends back then in school. They always said to me that I would make it in football and that I needed to continue.
“When I got out of school, I needed to continue to play,” he said.
