Super Eagles-eligible defender Caleb Okoli, currently playing for Atalanta BC, has recently shared an image on his Instagram that has sparked speculation about a move to Leicester City, Soccernet.ng reports.
Earlier reports circulating in the Italian football community reveal that the Foxes are on the verge of bolstering their squad with the signature of the Atalanta defender.
Meanwhile, Transfer Guru, Fabrizio Romano, also confirmed that the Italian-Nigerian has agreed on personal terms with the East Midlands on a deal in the region of €15 million.
Okoli, who is of Igbo and Yoruba descent, posted a picture of Seagraves Training Center, Leicester City’s training ground, on his social media before quickly deleting it, further fueling speculation that he is on the verge of signing for the Blues.

“Our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” reads the inscription which is written on one of the walls at the training ground.
Leicester are reportedly in discussions with Wilfred Ndidi about signing a new contract following the expiration of his current deal, while Kelechi Iheanacho, now a free agent, is close to joining another club.
Okoli’s signature would add another Nigerian player to the Leicester City squad, potentially allowing him to link up with Ndidi if everything goes according to plan.
The Italian-Nigerian defender, who honed his skills at the Atalanta and Vicenza Academies, played on loan for Frosinone last season, featuring in 37 matches across different competitions.
