Super Eagles stars Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu were the difference makers for Southampton as they both scored to help their side to a 2-1 win over Ipswich at Portman Road, Soccernet.ng reports.
Southampton continued their battle to stay alive in the Premier League when they traveled to Ipswich for their 24th league game of the campaign.
Coach Ivan Juric has shown a lot of faith in Nigerian stars Aribo and Onuachu since he arrived, and he kept it that way at Ipswich, as thy both started for the Saints.
Ipswich dominated the early proceedings, with Julio Enciso registering three goal efforts on goal in the first 18 minutes. However, Southampton got a goal against the run of play as Joe Aribo scored the opener in the 21st minute.
