Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor James Osimhen, is enjoying his off-season holiday and spending time with childhood friends in Lagos, Soccernet.ng reports.
Days after Nigeria lost their FIFA World Cup qualifying clash to Benin Republic, Osimhen lashed out at Finidi George about supposed questions on his commitments to the Nigerian football team.
Away from Football, the 25-year-old is enjoying his summer holiday after Napoli missed out on European competitions. A few days ago, he was seen enjoying a boat cruise with Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s Boniface, Club Brugge’s Raphael Onyedika, Obi Cubana and Igwe 2Pac.
Osimhen is taking all his time to cool off before returning to Italy. He was also seen with Nigerian Finance Mogul, Tony Elumelu and former coach, Samson Siasia.
Yesterday, Osimhen visited the Olusosun community of Lagos where he grew up, to celebrate with his childhood friends, bringing his CAF Player of the Year Award alongside, showing his humility and his association with his roots.
A year ago, after winning the Italian Serie A with Napoli, Osimhen visited Olusosun Primary School in Lagos, to play a friendly game with his childhood friends.
Osimhen may have to return abruptly to Napoli due to transfer issues. He has been linked with several top clubs, but none of them are willing to trigger the release clause in his contract.

I believe it will do us a whole world of good if the type of suggestive report depicting Osimhen and Iwobi as partying hard after Finidi's exit as Super Eagles coach is discontinued to avoid spending unnecessary bad blood. The last thing we need as the Super Eagles try to stay focused to turn around their bad run in the qualifiers for the 2026 world cup is fight amongst ourselves . It will be counterproductive to say the least.
