2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Ticket prices revealed for Super Eagles vs Bafana Bafana clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria target a must-win game against South Africa to steer them on a good path to securing a ticket for the 2026 World Cup

Nigerian football fans will flock to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Friday to witness their nation face South Africa for the second time in 2024, as reported by Soccernet.ng.

The clash between the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and the Super Eagles of Nigeria will unfold at the Nest of Champions as part of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers campaign.

Meanwhile, Soccernet.ng understands that football fans can gain entry to the game for 1,000 Nigerian naira for regular seats and 3,000 for VIP sections.

In the 2023 AFCON tournament, football fans were required to purchase a ticket for the Guinea-Bissau vs. Nigeria match, granting them access to the subsequent game between Cape Verde and Egypt. Ticket prices ranged from $4.83 to $16.12 (NGN5,500 to NGN23,000).

Compared to Nigeria’s previous encounters, the ticket prices for the South Africa game are considered affordable for fans dedicated to supporting the Super Eagles against their Southern African rivals.

With Finidi George at the helm, the 2013 AFCON champions are on a rescue mission as they prepare to face Hugo Broos’ team once again this year.

Following two 1-1 draws against Lesotho and Zimbabwe in their initial qualifying matches, securing a victory is crucial to reigniting the team’s hopes of World Cup qualification.
