Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey have named Jay-Jay Okocha as the best Nigerian to have ever played in the English Premier League

Fulham FC duo Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey recently stepped out together for a shopping spree in London, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian football stars first became acquainted when Bassey joined the Super Eagles in 2022, and have built a solid friendship over the years.

In the first episode of a new show tagged “Shopping Sessions”, the famous duo embarked on a shopping spree at luxury department store Harvey Nichols.

Watch the video here:

“We were not really born in the UK innit, we were born in Nigeria. You are fake Italian” Iwobi jested as they decided on what section of the store to explore first.

The teammates explored various renowned brands while also having a good laugh and sharing jokes. They had a great time picking outfits they believed would suit each other’s style.

“Ah the price is not my size oo”, Iwobi said in typical Nigerian fashion, reacting to the price of a Lanvin shirt which Bassey picked out for him. The 27-year-old insisted they were shopping on a budget.

The Super Eagles stars bonded as they selected outfits that align with their individual personalities. They also made reference to their Spanish teammate Adama Traore’s shoe game, as he appears to be a huge lover of Alexander Mcqueen shoes.

Iwobi and Bassey also had a fashion showdown where they put together outfits for different occasions, with Iwobi winning most rounds.

Their iconic bromance and interesting personalities continues to captivate the attention of fans and followers worldwide.
