Despite the disappointing loss against Blackburn Rovers, Leceister City clinched the Championship title with a triumphant victory against Preston North End last Monday. The club has been in a celebratory mood all week.

The 2023/24 EFL Championship season marks Ndidi’s last with Leceister City, with his contract set to expire this summer. Premier League clubs like Everton, West Ham United, and Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing the soon-to-be free agent.

Kelechi Iheanacho has also sparked exit rumors after reportedly refusing to renew his contract with Leceister City. Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are said to be eyeing the Nigerian striker.
