Ibukun Moses-Simon, wife of Super Eagles star Moses Simon, has held the position of founder and CEO of Simoiben Academy since its inception, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Kaduna-based football Academy produced the talented 18-year-old Flying Eagles defender Benjamin Frederick, who has just been signed to English Premier League Club Brentford FC.
Over the years, Ibukun Moses-Simon has successfully managed the football Academy, producing young talent, some of whom have now been signed by international football clubs. These talents include Solomon John who was transferred to Czech Republic’s Mlada Boleslav and Lawrence Shimave Ugen who joined Latvian club BFC Daugavplis in 2023.
She has maintained a proactive approach to ensuring the success of the academy and its talent, participating in trainings and games when possible.
Hailing from Nigeria, the beautiful mother of two was born on September 5. It was in Nigeria that her love story with Moses Simon began.
Ibukun had her undergraduate studies at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, earning a National Diploma in Banking and Finance.
Being a business enthusiast and career-oriented woman, she also took a three-year course at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Belgium, where she acquired a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in International Business Management.
Ibukun has remained determined to carve a niche for herself in the business world, even as she supports her husband in his demanding career and raises their children.
When she’s not playing the role of CEO and businesswoman, Ibukun delights in travelling the world and making memories with her family.
