I believe in Ola Aina – Says Super Eagles legend as Nottingham Forest face EPL relegation battle

Ola Aina played a key role for Super Eagles of Nigeria under the guidance of of Jose Peseiro at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tourney

Super Eagles legend, Sunday Oliseh, has shown his belief in his compatriot and Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, whose club is battling relegation, Soccernet.ng reports.

Aina’s Nottingham Forest is currently languishing in the relegation zone with 29 points, just three points ahead of Luton Town, who currently sit in 18th place in the English Premier League standings.

Following a dismal performance throughout the season, the Tricky Trees will need to win their last two matches of the 2023-24 season to remain in the Premier League.

However, Aina, since his move from Torino, has delivered his best performance for his club as well as his country, helping the Super Eagles squad with their progress to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

According to the former Borussia Dortmund star, Oliseh, he believes greatly in the Nigerian fullback and also thinks he can achieve bigger things in football.

“Somehow, I just believe so much in Ola Aina’s potential to achieve bigger things in Football. He seems to possess everything to succeed. Heads up, younger bro. Join me in wishing him well with the relegation struggle,” he wrote his X (formerly Twitter) page.

Nottingham Forest are scheduled to face Chelsea and Burnley in their final games of the 2023-24 season campaign, and Ola Aina will be hoping to help his team avoid relegation.
