Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe achieved a significant milestone by securing four titles with Benfica Feminino following a decisive 4-1 victory over Racing Power on Sunday, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian international, who played a key role in securing the Super Falcons’ Summer Olympics ticket, has been instrumental in her club’s success, winning the Liga BPI, Taça de Liga, Campeonato, and Taça de Portugal.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who joined Benfica from Swedish club Assi IF in 2020, has contributed significantly to each of Benfica’s league triumphs, helping them win consecutive league titles from 2021 to 2024.
Ucheibe, who has solidified her position as a key player for the Super Falcons as they gear up for the upcoming Olympics in Paris, took to her social media to express her joy at her club’s latest achievement.
“God is not done with me yet. It is a quadruple—too many blessings in one season. Believe and trust in God; He will always come through for you. Supertaca, Taça da Liga, Liga BPI, Taça de Portugal,” she wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) page.
The Kano-born player now has four Taça da Liga titles, four Campeonato Nacional Feminino titles, and two Supertaca de Portugal titles under her belt following this latest achievement.
The Benfica midfielder has been crucial for the Super Falcons in their bid to secure the 2024 Summer Olympics ticket slated to be held in Paris. She was solid in Nigeria’s recent game against South Africa.
Ucheibe, being one of Randy Waldrum’s significant players in the squad, is expected to play a key role in the upcoming campaign, where Nigeria will face Brazil, Spain, and Japan to advance to the next round.
