A joke? Victor Boniface to charge Real Madrid’s Rudiger for mirroring goal celebration

Victor Boniface has made 7 appearances and scored 5 goals in the Europa League this season

Bayer Leverkusen sensation Victor Boniface is set to charge Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger for imitating his famous celebratory dance, Soccernet.ng reports.

Following his excellent performance during the 2023/24 Bundesliga season, the talented striker has been nominated for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season award. The 23-year-old has scored thirteen goals and provided eight assists in the League this season.

In a light hearted exchange, Boniface recently teased German football star Antonio Rudiger, informing him that he now charges a fee for his signature goal celebration. Rudiger was seen doing the Boniface move alongside his teammates on the streets of Madrid, during Real Madrid’s La Liga title parade.

Boniface shared his reaction on his Instagram story with a playful “I charge now for this celebration🤣🤣🤣”. Rudiger, showing he can take a joke, responded “U have to take money for that😁🤷🏿‍♂️”.

The playful exchange highlights Boniface’s humorous and laid back personality, as well as his friendly disposition towards other football stars.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian football star and his German team are preparing for their final showdown in the UEFA Europa League. Bayer Leverkusen will face Atalanta in the Europa League finals next Wednesday, as they hope to secure their second title this year.
