Watch: Super Falcons’ Uchenna Kanu reacts to teammates Alozie, Babajide and Echegini’s shopping spree in South Africa

The NFF has lamented the poor treatment of the Super Falcons by the South African FA after Tuesday's Olympic qualifier in Pretoria

Super Falcons star, Uchenna Kanu recently shared a light-hearted reaction to teammates Michelle Alozie, Rinsola Babajide and Jennifer Echegini’s “soft life” escapades in South Africa, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Super Falcons qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics on Tuesday, April 9, after securing a win over South Africa’s Banyana Banyana.

Following their victory in Pretoria, some Super Falcons stars decided to make the most of their time in the Rainbow Nation, as they hit the streets of South Africa on a shopping spree.

In a video she posted on TikTok, Uchenna Kanu captured Alozie, Echegini and Babajide returning to their hotel with shopping bags. The hilarious video was captioned with the popular Nigerian phrase “where una dey see this money”.

Expressing her shock at her teammates “doings”, Kanu said “see our teammates, we dey cry for money, these girls go shopping. See hand full. Michelle, Rinsola and Joe, wetin una buy? And na Benz drop them…These girls are billionaires”.

Kanu jokingly insinuated that the trio must have gotten some money without the rest of the team’s knowledge.

The Super Falcons stars have now returned to their various home bases, even as they make preparations towards the 2024 Olympic games in July.
